Manpower :

Morocco applies a modern labor legislation, inspired from agreements and
recommendations emanating from the International Labor Organization.
Salary is debatable between employer and employee, but should not be lower than a SMIG (salaire minimum interprofessionnel garanti = minimum basic wage) ( SMIG = 1640 dh/month) and to SMAG (salaire minimum agricole garanti = minimum basic wage) in the agriculture sector (SMAG = 7.25 dh/hour ) . Working hours may not exceed 8 hours a day, or 48 hours per week. A (24 hour) day off every week should be granted to full-time employees. Employees have the right to a break after 6 hours of work. Employers must subscribe to the social security system (CNSS) and must register their employees with that system (Caisse).
